World News; Tevez Wants Out Of China, Warning To Rooney.
Carlos Tevez may just be on the verge of a sensational return to Argentina, a mere three months after leaving the country for the riches of the Far East.
The former Manchester United and City striker ended a second spell with boyhood club Boca Juniors at the end of last year to join Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua, for an eyewatering salary of £615,000 a week, or £1 A SECOND.
He is one of several stars to have their heads turned in recent months by the millions on offer in the country's newly minted football league - alongside players such as Oscar and Odion Ighalo, who both left the Premier League for the CSL in January.
Wayne Rooney could well be the next big name who's China-bound, but he would do well to heed the warning of his former Manchester United team-mate.
According to Argentine paper Ole, the 33-year-old is finding little solace in his £32 million-a-year salary and already wants to leave China.
Furthermore, Boca Juniors are considering a deal to bring Tevez back to Buenos Aires, the paper claims.
But the player's agent was quick to pour cold water on the claims, despite previous incidents of the player struggling to adapt to life away from his native Argentina.
What makes the story all the more remarkable is that Tevez has only played once for Shanghai Shehua, as the CSL season ended in October.
His one appearance was in the club's 2-0 defeat by Brisbane Roar in the AFC Champions League at the start of February.
