TV Adverts Slump As Audiences Move Online
Investment in UK television advertising has fallen for the fallen for the first time in 8
years as viewing habits move online. TV Spending dropped 7% in the first quarter and is predicted to fall 2% in 2017 to £3.93b, Media analyst Zenith said. Internet advertising will rise 7% to £10.1bn globally, this is the first year that more will be spent on internet adverts that on TV.
