Odionwere Felicitates With Ms Anne-Marie Imafidon.

The Odionwere of the Benins in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Pa (Engr.) Bernard Woghiren sends salutations and best wishes to Miss Anne-Marie Imafidon for the honour bestowed on her by HRM, Queen Elizabeth II. Anne-Marie was honoured with the accolade, MBE by the Queen on May 19, 2017.

The Odionwere described Anne-Marie as a prodigy of exceptional brilliance who brought pride, honour and recognition to the Benin Kingdom and Edo land through her academic excellence and her dedication to community service. Her tertiary education started at 13 when she commenced undergraduate studies at the John Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. At 19, she obtained a Master's degree from Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom.

The Odionwere noted with pleasure, Anne-Marie's exceptional career achievements in Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and in Deutsche bank. In addition, the gifted Edo

woman runs a Non Governmental Organisation which motivates young women to positively contribute to the development of their communities while making productive and rewarding professional career choices.

As he congratulates Anne-Marie and the Imafidon family for their notable achievements, the Odionwere enjoins all Edo to make positive contributions to their host communities in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He reminded all that by so doing, Edo in the diaspora will be great ambassadors for our Kingdom. By doing so, the Odionwere observed, the Edo in the United Kingdom and Ireland will meaningfully contribute to the realisation of Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II's vision of the Benin Kingdom and all Edo land.

Long and peaceful may our Oba's reign be!

Oba gha to, okpere; Isee!
