Georgia: Afemai Association Offers Annual Scholarship Award to Indigenes

Dear Afenmai Association of Georgia,

Applications are now being accepted for the 2017/2018 AWC Annual Scholarship Award Program.

A. AWC Indigent Scholarship Award: This award is open to Afenmai students in Universities/Polytechnics in Edo State, who are in their first year through the third year at their respective institutions and can provide evidence of inadequate finances for their tuition. Such applicants must provide a letter from their heads of the departments or bursars office indicating that they have been dropped or about to be dropped from classes because of their inability to pay their fees. Completion of a simple application form and certified by Chairman or the Secretary to the Local Government will also be needed. Application forms can be picked up and dropped off upon completion of applications at any of the Afenmai World Congress Resource Centers at 3 Secretariat Road, Igarra and Auchi-Fugar-Agenebode Road, Opposite St Angela's Girls Grammar School, Afashio-Uzairue or scan and emailed to Afenmaiworldcongress@yahoo.com . Thirty (30) Scholarships worth N30,000 each will be awarded to selected candidates across Afenmai land. The deadline for submission of application is January 15th, 2018.
