New Market in Iguemokhua to Help Deter Trafficking.
Fight against illegal migration, taskforce on human trafficking speaks to Iguemokhua community.

As part of the Obaseki's administration's fight against illegal Migration of its Citizens to Libya and otherwise African Countries, The Commissioner of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and Diaspora Affairs, Hon Osage Osemwegie Ero, took the task force on illegal Migration to his Community, Iguemokhua in Orhionmwon Local Govt.
From the statistics, Orhionmwon Local govt has the highest number of Libya Returnees in the state, and this is as a result of the Lack of basic informations needed to guide it's timid youths.
The Commissioner said the move was necessary to help delete the Culture of Illegal Migration. He stated that it was part of his bid to restore the correct Culture of the Edo People.
Also, the people of iguemokhua had a lot of Joy, as it was the Commissioning of the newly built market, a project single handedly embarked on by the Commissioner as part of his contributions to the infrastructural development of the community.
The Wife of the Governor of Edo State, Mrs Betsy Obaseki, who was represented by the Attorney General and Chief Justice of the State, Professor Yinka Omorogbe, applauded the commissioner for a job well done and took her time to enlighten the people on the dangers of illegal Migration.
The event climaxed with some. Libya Returnees sharing their story, and advising the people not to embark on such unfruitful journey.
In attendance to this epoch making event was the Enogie of Igiemokhua, HRH Enogie Ikponmwosa Irobun, Commisioner of Arts, Culture Tourism and Diaspora Affairs, Hon Osaze Osemwegie Ero, the Attorney General and Chief Justice of the State, Professor Yinka Omorogbe, Special Adviser to the Governor on gender issues, Ms. Efosa Uyigue, Special Adviser to the Senate President, Hon Douglas Osagie, Orhionmwon Local Government representatives, party leaders and Faithfuls, some palace chiefs.
The Enogie in his remark, showed his appreciation to the Commissioner for a job well done, and thanked the Commissioner for Justice, Prof Yinka Omorogbe for finding time to grace the occasion. He showed enthusiasm that change has truly come to iguemokhua Community and Orhionmwon Local govt at large.
