A LAW student hid cannabis in her wig to smuggle it into Brixton prison. Annette Aigbogun, 19, of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, was then seen putting the drug in a crisp packet at the south London jail, a court heard. Alan Goh, defending, said Aigbogun fell into rent arrears while studying law and Spanish at Hertfordshire university. ‘She did this foolish act for £300. This was what she owed,’ he said. Judge Freya Newbery ordered her at the Old Bailey to do 120 hours of unpaid work in the community over 12 months and 25 days of rehabilitation requirements.

Annette Aigbogun, 19, was caught transferring the drugs from hair hairpiece to a packet of crisps at Brixton Prison. Aigbogun, who is studying law and Spanish at the University of Hertfordshire, was spotted by prison officers and detained.
