19-year-old teenager murders benefactor, 55
The teenager reportedly hacked his benefactor to death in Edo state with the excuse of being poor.
Police reports say the 19-year-old man was looking at stealing his boss's motorcycle, hence the perpetration of the said act.
The police boss in the state says the young man's act can be described as wickedness.
In a revelation by the Edo state police command, the young man got a job in a plantation through the man he killed just so that he could inherit the decreases motorcycle.
Edo State police boss says, "after killing the man, the Benue state-born teenager took the motorcycle to a place where he could get prospective buyers and was caught in the process".
Haliru Gwandu, the Edo state police boss, explained what actually transpired. He said: "this is a very pathetic situation because this man he killed took him out for a job to make money and this boy took a cutlass and cut the victim from behind and ran away with the motorcycle abandoning the dead man there.
"But God punished him because God knows he was wicked to the victim. As he was making arrangement to sell the motorcycle, the people insisted he must produce the receipt before they could buy it and while he was pretending and confused as to what to do next, my men accosted them at the check point and he finally confessed and was arrested."
