Auchi Poly Students Protest Lecturers’ Strike Action

Students of Auchi Polytechnic in Edo state have embarked on a protest march against the management and staff of the institution over their “unending” strike action.

 

 

According to some students, who inform  Edoconnect reason behind the protest, the incessant industrial actions by the staff of the institution has delayed their graduation and caused those due for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization to miss the recently concluded exercise.

 

The Benin–Okene expressway was blocked by the protesting students who carried placards with inscriptions such as: “Enough! Enough!! Enough!!!” “We want lectures now” “We are tired of staying at home among others.
