Anne Shine CEO Mrs Anne Urhoghide (Anne Shine Diversity, Anne Shine Support, Anne Shine awards and Anne Shine international youth festival) celebrated her 50th birthday in Style on the 27th of May 2017.
The occasion was grand and filled with Friends, Family and community leaders testifying about the great work Mrs Ughoghide has done been doing in the community. Edo Connect was there to see praise lavished on a Benin Woman who has really touched lives not only within the UK Edo Community but also The Nigerian and Asian communities of Hounslow.

There were moving speeches from The Mayor of The London Borough of Hounslow Councillor Ajmer Grewal, The President of Nigerian Community of Hounslow Mr Julius Akinwale, Anne Shines first Son Nicholas , Anne's three sisters also sang and prayed for the crowd, saying this is the best eldest sister one could wish for, this occasion was truly emotional to most attendees. Edo Connect gave a small insight on Oba Ewuare II and The Great Benin Empire: Mrs Anne Urhoghide is from the Inneh Of Isiewenro Family, The Ekegbian of Benin, and she wanted her international friends to share in the pride of her heritage.
Other Special guests present included, Mr Eghosa Ohuimunwen, Councillor Abi Grewal (EX Mayor of Hounslow), Adorable Sisters of Manchester, Barrister Ighodaro Edokpolor, Mr Friday Eboreime, Councillor Jaydish Sharma, Mr Patrick Ellis, Mr Egburenmen, Mr Isaac, and Councillor Hanif Khan. 50 years is not easy and Anne Shine put up a great celebration to recognise this Golden Jubilee, there was a Buffet, drinks and DJ Timmy to ensure this was done in true Naija Style.
